It's January 2024 and the year started with not only one or two but four adult industry conferences and shows. Specially for non Americans a worthwhile trip since one can network or enjoy shows excessively within just two weeks.
Let's have a quick view on all of the four shows:
XBIZ Show and XBIZ Awards
The conference orgy started with the XBIZ show in Los Angeles. It took place at the Kimpton Everly hotel in Hollywood, a nice and rather intimate venue. The main parts of this B2B conference were the seminars and the networking opportunities. There weren't any booths except for the BongaCams pleasure room. Ideal for upcoming cam girls or affiliate to get to know the platform.
During the show the XBIZ Honors ceremony took place were industry executives and creators received a trophy for their achievements. The "Captain" Andy Wullmer was the host of this event. Another award show was held at the end of the conference: The XBIZ Awards. Those awards are more public and broader, the winners are from various fields, from porn to novelties to cam entertainment.

This is a rather new show that started just after XBIZ. X3 is a show for fans and took place at the Palladium in Hollywood. Sexyness was all over the place, creators, pornstars and camgirls were there to sign whatever could be signed. More entertainment could be enjoyed on the main stage. Two days full of erotic entertainment.
AVN Expo and AVN Awards
After a few days of a pause to recover, the crowd was heading to Las Vegas for the annual AVN show. AVN and XBIZ are kind of competitors in the field of adult media publishing. So we could basically enjoy the same again, just different. The AVN Expo, which used to be a mix of B2C and B2B show, has become more or less a fan show only. The industry changes, so do the events. The Resort World was chosen as the new venue for AVN after the legendary Hard Rock Hotel closed. A location that was AVNs home for many many years.
As asual at the end of the expo, the famous AVN Awards were handed out. Unlike in the earlier days, only a few major awards were given out at the ceremony itself. Special guests was Iggy Azaela doing a musical performance
Internext
Along with the AVN Expo there was a small corner reserved for Internext, which is a B2B only conference. It consisted of a few booths and a room for seminars. I'm not sure of the location was chosen wisely as it was very noisy due to its location inside the AVN Expo--which is a bit of a daytime party.
