Being last is not always a bad thing. This years The European Summit (TES) in Prague was the last of three shows in a row and also the one that left the biggest impact. September took off with the Webmaster Access in Amsterdam, continued with XBIZ Berlin and ended with TES.
As in previous years, the show was held in the Diplomat Hotel, a quite traditional conference venue a little outside of the city. It was packed with networking opportunities, for sure the free flowing drinks during most of the hours helped.
The attendants came from all around the world and from all kinds of businesses. Still mainly from the adult industry however there were also quite a few companies around presenting their products and services that came from mainstream and looking to expand into adult.
According to the organisers, this years TES broke the record in attendants and presentation stands. In fact it was clearly noticeable that the floors were packed and many reps mentioned the good contacts they could make.
As usual, the show schedule contained many seminars to attend. Unfortunately, a bit too many during the same hours which made it impossible to attend all one was interested in. The range of topics was broad: Crypto, Marketing, Legal, Content Production and others.
The more days passed, the more tired the people looked. No surprise since there were many off-hour activities to attend. For example the traditional Czech Dinner, the YNOT Awards, a river cruise, the ExoClick party and more.
The next European Summit will be held upcoming spring in Cascais, Portugal.
